Sunday swimming at the pond

By about now you should be getting thoroughly sick of my swimming/water/outdoors posts, and wish I was  blogging about fall,crafting and cozy meals in the rain.

Right? right? 

Late summer, and Indian summer will soon be over, and we will relish in the changing colors, the coziness of fall, and all the beauty of the changing seasons, but for now, we have just a few more swimming adventures to do

This pond is on my aunt's property, and it is a green, fresh,  gorgeous little spring fed swimming hole.

It rained and rained and thundered and was pretty much the coziest night ever last night,

Finally! sewing

Almost a year ago my mother bought me a simple little Singer sewing machine.
I had no place to put it.
It sat, and sat in storage.
I have a real home now, and some time now that the kids are back in school.
I pulled it out, taught myself how to use it, and made pillows!

I hope this is the beginning of a long and happy relationship for us!
