Summer to the fullest

I have been thinking lately about just how many cold, long months of dead brown vegetation there are here, and vowing to live this summer to the fullest, enjoy every summer smell, every plant, every chance to swim and be in the sunshine and feel free!

Here we visited aunt Terry's farm and lake in the countryside

Z hunted for crayfish and snapping turtles, 

I. played with her friend Izzy 

and baby M, aka Lulu, waded in the muddy shallow

I swam and swam and enjoyed the cool spring fed water under beautiful vast skies.

A happy day all around ~
