Rainbow flag garland

 I must admit a crafty urge to make something beautiful arose yesterday, I wanted to immerse myself in a fun project with the kids, something that felt summery and joyful.
 I love rainbows, probably because I love colors, all colors, so very very much, and rainbows feel like summer, they hold within them all the vibrant hues of the season.
We cut white cotton fabric into squares, and got busy!

 Turns out baby M enjoys painting in the buff (with rainboots on.....) tell me something I dont know.
and hubby passed by and actually captured a shot of  the kids and I painting .
We hung it above out compost pile on our wood fence.
