Baby M and the chickens

So baby M is obsessed with animals, ALL animals, but primarily chickens.

Every time I buckle him in the car to go on an errand he asks hopefully:

"Ticken?"

Lucky for us all my aunt lives here, on this beautiful farm so close to our house.

Look at that strut, he's on his way to the pen.

What ensues is baby M happily chasing the alarmed chickens for about 10 minutes

sometimes he tries to fit in the coop

today was extra special, because daddy caught one, and he got to hold.

Imani got to collect freshly laid eggs from their little straw nests

These chickens live outside and feast on vegetables from the biodynamic garden next door.

I wish everyone got to try these eggs.
