A couple of announcements

A couple of things...My shop name, formerly 3kids and colors, just like this blog, has now "grown up", and changed to Uccellino designs.
Uccellino of course meaning little bird in Italian.
Find my new and updated name on Etsy, and instagram handle "Uccellino designs" thanks!
Madelife gallery in Boulder is now carrying a nice selection of Uccellino designs handmades, they are a beautiful gallery space in downtown Boulder Colorado, and I must say it is very cool to walk by and check out my stuff in the windows.
Not great photos, but here you go.
Fiori Flowers and boutique is also carrying some of my newest fiber art wall hanging pieces, so go check them out too!
Lastly all you Christmas shoppers (I know, too early to even mention it) prepare
I am having a booth at the Waldorf winter fair in Boulder Co on Saturday December 5th.

Linen and felt "eye" wall hanging

New in the shop! A little bit of a departure for me, something avant garde, modern, a little funky perhaps. 100% linen "eye" with felt tears and lashes on driftwood

Wool felt buntings

This project, these garlands made me so happy.
First and foremost because it was a joy to work with 100% pure virgin wool felt from Nepal, in these amazingly rich colors.
It may seem like a trivial fact, but most of the felt and felt sheets out there are an awful polyester substitute, the feel between my fingers gives me the heebie jeebies!.
These little triangles are all made of thick pure sheeps wool, hand cut by hand and eye by me, and carefully sewn onto an organic cotton twill tape banner.
I hope you will be buying one for your little one's room, playroom, holiday celebration or next party!
Enjoy
