More fun with paper

Decided to make some hand made block printed wrapping paper recently to wrap a wedding gift in:

 

 

and the kids had fun making THESE:

 

 

 

 

 

  Greeting cards stamped with hand carved wooden block prints from India.
Granted we could have used prettier paper.....

Unremarkable

Some days are just that: filled with mondane chores, boring to do lists and just
~keeping everyone afloat~
fed, dressed cleaned, homeworked and offed to school and back.
Today was one of those

Good thing I had this fat bottomless boy eating his baby cheerios at my kitchen table to remind me how good life is....

Galimoto's and more...

We have some pretty favorite toys around here: one of them are our Galimoto's. They are little handmade toys from Africa, made of wire and cloth, usually made by children. You push them by their wire handle, and the little wheels turn and the legs pump.
Great fun!
