Grapes and grape juice

It is the tail end of summer harvesting,
I had wanted to make juice to last us through the winter (or at least the fall!) there is a gorgeous sprawling concord grape vine in an alley in our neighborhood, we have started visiting it every end of summer, the little grape kernels are so ripe and bursting with sweet juice, they pop off the clusters when you touch them.
Concord grapes smell and taste like candy
a fluffy kitty came to visit us
heading home with our haul
first batch of juice: heavenly!
we headed back again with daddy
in italy where I grew up, these purple flowers that would bloom in the fall were called "settembrini" little septembers
daddy helped us pick a lot more
this is not an accurate representation of just how much juice we made! tons.

I have stained purple fingers, grape juice guzzlig kids,
 and a happy heart.
Happy wednesday
