Santa came early

Yesterday morning Zion woke up from a dream that his parents were really really mad at him, and he felt awful, little did he know it would turn out to be slightly prophetic....
We woke the kids up early and took them on a long drive through beautiful, frost covered country roads, telling them we were going to get them their xmas present, and not a word more.
They became suspicious when they spotted a pet cage in the backseat halfway there, and were convinced we were getting  a husky puppy....drat
On the drive there Hubby and I kept disagreeing on the window aperture, I was hot, he was cold, he would close it, I would crack it open etc.... I hardly remember but I must have won, as we were to find out later.
When we got there we saw so many darling bunnies! even tiny babies that were just 4 days old, and a finaaally, after much back and forth we picked out this sweet little baby boy! when we were getting ready to leave, I realized with dismay that Zion had quick locked all the doors, and that the key was now stuck inside.
It was freezing, and windy, and we were on a farm in the middle of absolute nowhere, at least an hour from home. The only hope was the window i had mercifully left cracked.
Hubby fashioned a wire hook from an old piece of wire he found lying around, and fished and fished and fished for the key to no avail through the minute crack in the widow, it was getting colder.
Thankfully the farmer arrived with a magnet, witch we attached to the end of the hook, and unbelievably it worked!
We got our key, and our bunny, and our freezing fingers, and we headed home.
Suffice to say this trip will probably be printed forever in little memories, while the parents might want to forget it. lol
Happy Wednesday!
