Estes Park wool market

Thank you to my aunt K who insisted we visit this wonderful fair.
It was amazing to see so many beautiful well loved fiber animals and get to witness the connection from them, to the precious wool they create.

Newly shorn Alpaca's, with their funny long spindly necks
rabbit wool
spun into this , fluffy cloud feel
and knit into this
from batting to thread!
from thread to cloth
this guy
tired and whiny, nothing new!
beautiful creations, i loved the felt succulent planters, woa!
spindles
waiting for their haircuts. So amazing to watch that wool pelt come off in one piece
And finally, inspired by all the cute llamas and Alpaca's, and Mermag, a llama craft!

what I left with, glorious mustard wool

Happy Monday
